About Us
AbleKids Therapy Service is an allied health practice situated in beautiful Geraldton. Geraldton is a vibrant community on WA's Coral Coast, where you can enjoy a laidback lifestyle, including our cafe's, galleries and street art, and also take in the beautiful surroundings, including our gorgeous coastline, wildflowers and trails. We are currently providing speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and psychology services. Our clients are primarily children with developmental delays and disabilities, but we have clients of all ages. We support NDIS participants and private clients to achieve their goals. We use family-centred, evidence and strengths-based approaches working collaboratively with other professionals. We also support clients in more remote areas of the Midwest region through direct service provision and telehealth services. The AbleKids therapy team deliver a high standard of professionalism and are committed to evidence-based practice, family centred approach and working collaboratively with other professionals.
About the Position
· The role will primarily involve the assessment and treatment of infants, pre-school and school aged children who are at risk of developing or who already demonstrate developmental delays and difficulties in engaging in typical childhood occupations.
· You will have the opportunity to develop skills in providing services to a varied paediatric caseload, including children with developmental coordinator disorder, sensory processing difficulties, cerebral palsy and autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
· Services are provided at the clinic, and when required or deemed more appropriate at client’s homes, schools, kindergartens and childcare centres.
· This position will have the opportunity to provide services to more remote areas of the Midwest in both face to face and Telehealth formats.

Qualifications
· Full relevant education and registration
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Western Australian Working with Children Check and WA Department of Education provider screening/ NDIS provider screening.
· Be eligible for Medicare provider number
· C Class driving license
